If you’re looking for introductory graphic recording workshops, they’re not hard to find. Comprehensive training programs that will meet you where you are and take you to the next level are few and far between.

That’s why we launched The Graphic Method.

We’ve been doing this work for more than a decade, and one thing has become clear: graphic recording is an uncharted career path. Once you’ve taken an introductory workshop and captured all your favorite TED Talks with markers, you find yourself in unknown territory, without a map. We’d like to serve as your guide, offering a unique combination of workshops, one-on-one mentoring, and live practice sessions designed to show you a clear path in your self-paced career. We offer Cornerstone workshops at 3 different levels (beginner, competency, and mastery) and each teach foundational skills to build and develop your practice. You determine the starting point and we provide you with the tools, skills and support to move forward.

Beginners start with our Intro Cornerstone workshop, focusing on the fundamentals with lettering and drawing 101, capturing content in real time, and listening skills. If you’ve already mastered the basics, our Competency Cornerstone workshop will focus on refining fundamental skills, how to capitalize on your own unique skills, how to collaborate with others, and discovering more visuals ways to play with your client. If you’ve been in the graphic recording field for more than five years, our Mastery Cornerstone workshops will hone your synthesis, storytelling, and active listening skills to challenge yourself and add value for your clients. Our program is supported by a cohort and mentorship model to promote continuing connections and learning.
